My dear, what a relief to just sit at Rosings and enjoy peace and quiet. I do rather enjoy being my myself..... I can't help but wonder what Darcy and Elizabeth are up to. I hope they are both in good heath, except Elizabeth who should just go away from my nephew.
I do not quite appreciate you criticizing my daughter the way that you are. I hope you know that my daughter, Lizzy, is just as talented and special as any high class human in this city. Let Elizabeth be, and let her have her associations with Darcy, for I am sure she does not like his company. Mind your own business please, and do not worry about the way Elizabeth is acting. Thank you for spending time with my lovely daughter

My dear Aunt, how can you say that about the woman that I love! I had always stayed by your side but if you are rude to Lizzy again I won't be there to help you. If you respect me you won't do anything to her. I am sorry if I hurt your feeling but it is the truth.
ReplyDeleteLady Catherine, I agree with you so much it is nearly ridiculous. Elizabeth is a scoundrel who has no education or art history, and needs to give up chasing Mr. Darcy. Anyone who chases a man is quite stupid.
ReplyDeleteDo not worry about me, for I have no connection to Mr. Darcy as far as I'm concerned. I wish nothing but to think neutrally of him, just like my dear sister Jane would advise. You, however, I have every reason to think a buffoon, and I do. Indeed, Miss. Bingley, chasing a man is quite stupid, so why do you pursue this action most ardently?
DeleteIt seems as is you have different personalities. For as when Elizabeth came home she told me that you had wished her to stay longer. For it makes no sense as to why you would want her to stay longer yet be out of your hair. Look at the bright side both Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy will we the happiest ever if they fall in love.
ReplyDeleteDear Lady Catherine,
ReplyDeleteI hope I can visit your estate sometime in the near future. I have heard wonderful things from my dear friend Mr. Darcy. I shall enjoy visiting you the next time Darcy visits you. I would love to see your lavish lifestyle and your wonderful property. I would love to be blessed with your presence.
-Charles Bingley
I cannot wait till I get to come to your residence very soon. Even though Darcy ruined it for me and Jane I have forgiven him and we should visit soon to soak up your knowledge.

ReplyDeleteIt seems that you would rather me be unhappy my whole life without Lizzy. If you were a good aunt, you would accept whoever I decided to fall in love with. Stop telling Lizzy to stay away from me! If things eventually do not worl out between us, I blame you.
How could you. I love this girl very much so you need to learn to except that. One day we live happly together and you can't stop that from happening!
ReplyDeleteOh i wish i could see the look on your face right now! To think that Darcy and I are now to be married. I am sorry for him not marrying your daughter but it was not meant to be. I wish that you could accept us.. but frankly even if you dont, i do not care. Darcy and I have a love that you cannot tear with your jealous accusattions and threats.
